Animal husbandry and dairying is a pivotal tool for sustainable agriculture, therefore, a long term cost effective strategic dairy development programme has been designed to achieve the target. A milk chilling plant and village cooperative milk procurement and supply chain has already been initiated to bring maximum benefit to the rural community.
